Manager, Forecasting This position will supportforecasting efforts for VIVITROL , ARISTADA , ALKS 3831, ALKS 4230, and other New Product Planning and Business Development opportunities by providing analytical and modeling expertise to the forecasting leads. The position will report directly to the Sr. Director, Forecasting. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, detail-oriented, analytical individual with a strong focus on customer service and ability to adapt quickly to changing demands. Expertise in best practice MS Excel modeling is required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Constructing MS Excel-based forecast models to project patients, TRxs, and revenues for marketed and pipeline products and business development opportunities. Supporting the team in structuring, building and reviewing MS Excel-based forecast models, as the go-to technical expert for modeling queries and standards. Conducting analyses to support forecast input requirements, validate forecast projections, quantify forecast sensitivities Utilizing forecasting software such as Crystal Ball or ForecastPro to produce additional input to forecasting process Developing new forecasting capabilities to enhance forecast accuracy in complex markets Implementing quality control systems and performing quality control analyses to enhance accuracy of forecast models across the forecast team Ad-hoc forecasting projects to support cross-functional stakeholders including Patient Services, Field Sales, Contract Operations, Payer Marketing, and Finance EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degreerequired; Major in Business Management, Operations, Marketing or related subject is preferred Master's degree in an analytic field 7+ years experience in an analytical role, with at least 5 years in the biopharmaceutical industry, preferably in forecasting, finance, or commercial analytics Expertise required in building dynamic forecast models in Excel, experience with modeling for pharmaceutical products preferred Familiarity with forecasting software tools such as Crystal Ball or ForecastPro preferred Experience of working with commercial data in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry preferred (e.g.,HUB , IMS/Symphony data, and medical claims data); experienceworking with large datasets and using relational databases a plus.
